Can you believe this site is 3-years old, from the "hey-days" of 2000, when the "internet world" was everything....it was then that I learned a few tricks about the internet, servers, domain names, and HTML...of course, there is still and will always be more to learn. This website has undergone 3 updates, first established on May of 2000. The domain name is still in good status and will continue to be renewed indefinitely. However, website hosting was a tumultuous period this past year. It used to be hosted for a company for $100 a year, but then they decided to "make changes" and in the process deleted EVERYTHING on the ftp server. Pissed... Luckily, I had a back-up copy on my computer (back-ups came in handy), and since then, I've discontinued all business with this webhosting company, and am currently hosting it off my own computer in Taiwan for FREE. Now I make all the decisions, including if I want to erase everything on the server :) Now my only expense is the domain name, however if I want to link the web address "annamarndunn.com" to my computer IP address "140.112.231.69", I need to spend $24/year to Network Solutions to link the two. Does this sound right? I would assume I could link my domain name to a static IP address for FREE?/?

Update on the Dunn family
From the crazy, confusing, and tragic events of June 1996, up to today, July 2003, all I can say in a few words to describe these full 7 years is "it's been an experience, and we've all survived". But it's true. Simply said, the Dunn family has its health, its energy, its tradition, its sense of "family", and a strong belief in better days ahead. If not already, the "better days" have already arrived. Dad has lived to survive his "accident" in 2001, and is almost completely recovered, Greg is pushing strong with the study of medicine, having graduated from UCLA medical school in 2002 amongst the presence of all his family members. He is currently doing residency in LA, CA in internal medicine. Roger (author) just got back from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan after 9 months studying Chinese and Business on a Rotary International 1-year Ambassadorial Scholarship. He graduated with an Industrial Engineering major from Northwestern Univ near Chicago in 2002. He's currently making a major decision on 'where' and 'what' for the next year, and possibly the rest of his life. Laurie-Ann graduated with an Art major from Wellesley Collge (all-girls school) in Boston, MA this year and is moving back to Boston for work. Michael (Mikey), also graduated this year, from Roosevelt High (located near Punahou High), and will be attending St. Louis Univ. in Missouri, on a 'substantial' scholarship. He's considering Computer Science.

One thing is for sure, these kids are all over the US: on the East or West coast, one will be in the 'dead middle' of the States, and one has lived four years in 'chilly' Chicago. Notwithstanding, the Dunn family always makes it a priority to either meet up in Hawaii or LA at least once a year (summer or winter vacation). This website is just another way to keep updated on all these kids and the husband and we continue to "blaze" our new trails and unchartered waters, while at all times, remembering the past, the traditions, and their ever-so-special mother, Anna Marn Dunn.

Although family member, friends, and her children may not be able to conveniently visit her cemetary in Kaneohe, HI, they will always have an opportunity to view new and old pictures, testimonials, and updates on the internet at AnnaMarnDunn.com (http://140.112.231.69)
